Congratulations to Armin Kress on his company anniversary!

This year we are celebrating a very special milestone: 40 years of Armin Kress at Föckersperger.

Armin’s journey with our company began back in 1985 with his apprenticeship as an agricultural machinery mechanic. Only ten years later, in 1995, he successfully earned his master craftsman’s certificate in agricultural machinery mechanics.

Since then, Armin has been the driving force behind the design of our special-purpose machines – the unique pipe and cable plowing systems. With his wealth of experience, technical precision, and creative ideas, he continuously develops customer-specific innovations and improves our machines further and further.

Armin is also deeply committed to training young talent: for many years he has been passing on his knowledge and passion to our apprentices in the field of construction machinery mechatronics.

What sets Armin apart is his close relationship with our customers. He knows their requirements inside out and does everything possible to put them into practice: “I am always looking for solutions to every challenge – what makes me happiest is when our customers are satisfied in the end. For me, that is the best motivation to keep developing new ideas. That’s how the work remains exciting even after 40 years.”

We sincerely thank Armin for 40 years of loyalty, reliability, and outstanding dedication – and we look forward to many more years together!

Did you know that our family business dates back to 1865?

It all began when Johann Heinrich Müller founded a workshop for mill repairs. Over the generations, the business steadily grew, and in 1927, it was officially registered as „Konrad Müller Landmaschinen & Reparaturwerkstatt“.

A new chapter began in 1965: When Konrad Müller’s daughter Marlene married Georg Föckersperger from Lower Bavaria, they laid the foundation for our company as it exists today – with the establishment of Georg Föckersperger GmbH. Georg was a true visionary who revolutionized the industry with his innovative Pipe and Cable Plow technology – still in use and evolving to this day.

The first major milestone? On May 4, 1971, we completed our very first cable plowing project – and it was spectacular: a duct was pulled beneath the Rednitz River near Penzendorf. Since then, we have continuously developed and refined our technology. 

In 2005, Frank Föckersperger took over management and now leads the company in its 6th generation.
In 2008, we founded Föckersperger Maschinen GmbH, where our Cable Plow systems are designed, manufactured, and distributed worldwide.

With the founding of FST GmbH in 2017, we expanded from pure plowing services to offering complete turnkey solutions in utility construction. Our portfolio now includes route preparation, Pipe and Cable Plowing using our in-house systems, drum logistics, HDD drilling, and excavator works for site support and restoration.

In 2023, we restructured our group of companies:
The Frank Föckersperger GmbH now oversees both FST GmbH (utility construction) and Föckersperger Maschinen GmbH (engineering, production, and global sales).

And in 2025, we celebrate our 160th anniversary!

Our story is defined by innovation, progress, and a strong family spirit – and we’re proud to carry this tradition into the future.

What many don’t know: We design and manufacture our cable plows and vibratory plows entirely in-house — from the very first weld onward.

Each system is developed through close collaboration between engineering, design, and production — tailor-made to meet our customers’ requirements and, of course, optimized for use in our own underground cable installation projects.

The result: robust, reliable machines that perform even in the toughest conditions.

Our task: securing large concrete sections using our F890 WinchTruck during the step-by-step dismantling of the bridge structure.

This operation required custom equipment and strict safety measures to ensure the demolition process was carried out precisely and safely – even under challenging conditions and in full compliance with the highest safety standards.

This operation proves: Our technology isn’t just about energy – it’s also about taking responsibility.

The installation included five systems of 1,000 m² (30 kV) and one system of 600 m² (30 kV). The cables were laid using both single and double configurations.

Thanks to our specialized equipment featuring a 7-drum cable transport system, we were able to install the systems not only efficiently but also with minimal ground impact and in an environmentally friendly manner – a milestone project that clearly demonstrates our expertise in large-scale energy network installations.

This year, bauma 2025 welcomed an incredible 600,000 visitors. A total of 3,601 exhibitors from 57 countries showcased their products and machinery across 200,000 m² of indoor halls and 414,000 m² of outdoor exhibition space.

It was a pleasure not only to make new connections, but also to take the opportunity to have relaxed and meaningful discussions with many of our long-standing customers and business partners. This personal exchange was a real highlight of our time at the fair.

A real eye-catcher for many visitors was our showcased vibratory plow Viper V225 – the innovative machine attracted plenty of attention from technology enthusiasts and even became a popular backdrop for countless photos.

One of the standout moments came right at the start of the week with a visit from State Parliament Member Walter Nussel and State Minister Hubert Aiwanger. We greatly appreciated their interest in and recognition of our solutions for modern utility line construction.

Another special highlight was the official handover of our exhibited vibratory plow Viper V225 to Georg Vetter e.K. from Hüfingen. We wish the Vetter team much success and many productive projects with their new machine!

And on Friday, we had the pleasure of welcoming a very special group of visitors: a full coach of colleagues, family members, and friends traveled to Munich to visit us at the show and soak up the atmosphere for themselves. A wonderful day for everyone involved!
